Faith Ng Wing Chi obtained her Master of Classical Singing from the European Union with a total average score of 96 and Master of Urban Design from the University of Hong Kong.

 

In 2008, within 7 months learning, she obtained Grade 8 in Singing from the ABRSM. Accordingly, in 2009, she decided to fly to an unfamiliar country - Bulgaria - to study Opera Singing and Ancient Greek.

 

She is the author of《上帝所愛的女高音》which was published in July 2015 and New Book Release was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

 

Faith has actively performed in many opera concerts in Europe, including Vienna (Austria), Barcelona (Spain) and all over different regions in Bulgaria. She also sang in Rome (Italy) and Luxembourg. Besides, she has collaborated with the Vidin State Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vratsa State Philharmonic Orchestra. She has worked with conductors Maestro Geogi Petrov and Deyan Pavlov.

 

She was invited to be a guest singing model (Sing Operatic Arias and Cat Walking at the same time) in the "Perfect Imperfections" Fashion Show held at the The Residence Of The Consul-General Of The Kingdom Of The Netherlands. She has actively promoted the popularisation of classical vocal singing and has been interviewed by various media in Hong Kong, including Hong Kong Economic Times, U Lifestyle, Apply Daily, Oriential Daily, RTHK, Weekend Weekly, Angel's Heart, SOBEM and TVB. She has been invited by the Hospital Authority and conducted singing classes at the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital to improve the heart & lung function, pronunciation, general health & self-confidence of the cancer recoverers. She also has been invited to be the conductor at the 135th Anniversary Thanksgiving Worship of the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Charity Foundation. In 2019, she organised a concert "Miracles Happen When You Believe" to encourage the recoverers to sing on stage and improve their self-confidence. In order to spread the gospel and empower the self image of the cancer patients and recoverers, she worked with Tsimshatsui Swatow Christian Church to produce several testimonial videos to carry out the blessings that beneficial to a  wider coverage of people.

 

Faith has produced her own YouTube channel teaching Christian songs, she hopes the videos will benefit and support the Chinese Christians especially to those out of Asia region. She has delivered several Singing Master Classes in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Hong Kong Arts Centre. She has performed in various concerts in Hong Kong including her own solo recital in various venues in Hong Kong such as Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Hong Kong City Hall. She also organise different music events in Hong Kong. Besides, she is also teaching students privately.

 

Faith specialize on singing the works of Giacomo Puccini. The arias she performed include “Madama Butterfly”, “Tosca”, “Manon Lescaut”, "Suor Angelica", Liu in “Turnadot”, “La Boheme” and “Gianni Schicchi” . Besides, she also perform arias from other great composers like “La Wally” from Alfredo Catalani, “La Traviata” and “Rigoletto” from Giuseppe Verdi, "Norma" and "I Capuleti e i Montecchi" from Bellini, “Rusalka” from Antonin Dovrak, “Cosi Fan Tutte”, “Don Giovanni”, “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “Die Zauberflote” from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “L’elisir D’amore” and “La Figlia Del Reggimento” from Gaetano Donizetti, “Rinaldo” from Handel, "Faust" from Gounod and “The Barber of Seville” from Gioacchino Rossini.

 

Her teacher was Darina Takova, a well-known opera singer who had developed a distinguished opera singing career in Verona, Italy. Moreover, Faith is under the guidance of the legendary singer and professor, Ressa Koleva, who has also taught Vesselina Kasarova (The most famous Mezzo Soprano) and Svetla Vassileva, a renowned soprano who sings with Placido Domigo. Besides, Faith had an experience studying in Italy with Professor Katia Angeloni, a famed opera singer and professor who has developed a brilliant career in Rome and Korea. 


She was selected to attend the Master class of Dragana Moles in 2010 and 2012 and the Master class of Toni Shekerdjieva Novak in 2010. 

Faith also obtained several professional qualifications from the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in the United Kingdom between 2006 and 2009, including Music Theory (Grade 8), Singing (Grade 8) and Flute (Grade 5). 

Faith also served as the main conductor in the Bulgaria Chinese Christian Church, trainer and leader of the Gospel Choir, teacher of Children Sunday School and trainer of Guitar class for youths in the church. Her performing languages include Italian, German, French, Czech, Russian, Bulgarian, Latin, Greek, English and Chinese.
